Crude oil dropped more than $3 to $105 a barrel on Friday after talks in the U.S over the rescue package of banks failed to reach a resolution

Crude oil dropped more than $3 to $105 a barrel on Friday after talks in the U.S over the rescue package of banks failed to reach a resolution. Oil was lower on Friday despite the weakening of the greenback. Reduced fuel demand and a struggling economy in the States have contributed to oil falling from its record price of $147 in mid-July. Crude was trading at $105.20 at 10.30am GMT
