What is your name and position?
Federico Cirulli, Chief Executive Officer of ActivTrades.

What is your professional background?
All members of the ActivTrades team are highly experienced Forex brokers and come from Sales and Trading backgrounds covering a variety of financial products, including Forex, CFDs, Futures and Options.

Who are your targeted audience?
ActivTrades work with traders at all levels from retail to professional.  Traditionally with a focus on European clients, ActivTrades also counts traders from the Middle East, Russia and the ex-soviet Republics, Asia, Australia & New Zealand, South Africa and South America amongst its growing client base.

Is your main focus of your business online or offline?
Online.

How different is the forex market today from what it was 2 years ago?
The Forex market has  grown and matured:  it is no longer the domain of institutional traders, with an increasingly educated and experienced sector of retail clients participating via online trading, and demanding tight spreads and competitive leverage from their Forex broker.  The increased regulation of the market has provided a safer environment for retail traders.

Do you also offer Fund management services?
No, ActivTrades does not offer Fund Management services, although we accept accounts from professional, regulated Fund Managers.

Who are the main competitors of ActivTrades in the on-line Forex market?
Main competitors include Alpari, IG Markets and ODL Securities.

What do you think about Forex scam problem in the on-line Forex brokers market?
Despite the heightened regulation of the Forex market, there still exist a number of illegal and unregulated brokers.  Traders should do their due diligence and ensure they are making an informed decision when choosing an online Forex broker.

Where do you see ActivTrades 2 years from now?
ActivTrades continues to go from strength to strength, consolidating a strong presence in Southern Europe whilst expanding into geographical regions where Forex is a relatively new market.
