Really any one who wants to trade online. And specifically traders who may want to utilize autotrading in their portfolio

Is your main focus of your business online or offline?

Online.

Why should a trader choose Forex.Ca over another broker?

Our main focus is on the Cash Forex Market. Other brokers may offer derivatives, options, stocks, etc. By focusing on the Cash Forex spot market we have an advantage over these Brokers. We are able to position ourselves with partners and provide specific tools others brokers don’t. For example, autotrading tools and TradeStation Technology Solutions.

What advice do you have for someone who is just starting to trade the forex market?

The greatest achievement in the industry is the forex demo account. You can now trade online using virtual money, using the same platform and quotes provided by a live platform. It is important that the demo platform exactly matches the live platform feed and has the same quotes and features. Traders should familiarize themselves with the platform and develop a sound trading strategy before they start risking any of their money. The second most important thing a new trader should do is invest in education that teaches sound money management and risk control.

How different is the forex market today from what it was 2 years ago?

The main difference would probably be the cost of trading. The spread between the currencies that Brokers provide is shrinking every year which is a great advantage to the everyday trader.

We do offer a Fund Management option.

Who are the main competitors of Forex.Ca in the on-line Forex market?

The few Brokers who offer autotrading capabilities.

What do you think about forex scam problem in the on-line Forex brokers market?

It was a real problem a few years ago which motivated us to start Forex.ca. Additionally, I think we're the only online trading site which discloses that we don't skim pips off our traders! This is where Brokers/Introducing Brokers might inflate a spread between two currency pairs to make a larger profit from the individual trader. I still see this happening but to a lesser degree.
