FX Solutions Hires New Head of Financial Engineering

Online forex broker FX Solutions today announced the hiring of Dr. Steven Janowsky as the new head of financial engineering. Dr. Janowsky is responsible for the continuous refinement of FX Solutions’ unique trading platform, which automates customer transactions, eliminating the need for a traditional trading desk.

FX Solutions, a leading foreign exchange brokerage executing more than 99 percent of its customers’ trades with no human intervention, today announced the hiring of Dr. Steven Janowsky as the new head of financial engineering.

In this role, Dr. Janowsky is responsible for the continuous refinement of FX Solutions’ unique trading platform, which automates customer transactions, eliminating the need for a traditional trading desk.

Dr. Janowsky joins FX Solutions from the Clinton Group, a New York-based investment advisor. At the Clinton Group, he served as Head of Analytical Software Development, responsible for risk management, pricing and analytics. Prior to the Clinton Group, Janowsky was Senior Vice President for Quantitative Research at Tradeworx, Inc., a provider of analytical products for institutional investors, financial institutions, technology firms and Internet portals.

Dr. Janowsky, who earned his PhD in physics from Harvard University, has over 20 publications in peer-reviewed physics and mathematics journals.
