1. What is your professional background?

My name is Rupert Kain and I am the head of the Vantage FX analytical team, I have over seven years experience in the financial markets across a wide number of asset classes. I have worked in managerial roles responsible for the training, risk management, and profitability of multiple dealing teams.

Vantage FX is a corporate authorised representative of Enfinium Pty LTD (AFSL No. 322081). In an effort to become a more global broker, Enfinium Pty Ltd has partnered with Vantage FX UK (FSA Reg no. – 501057) to offer European clients a local office experience.

2. Who is your target audience?

Vantage FX has the capabilities to offer Forex to retail, high-net worth and institutional clients around the world via our MT4 and MT5 trading platforms.

3. Is the main focus of your business online or offline?

We are an online ECN broker with 24 hour phone, email and live chat support. Being a STP broker, there is no dealer desk intervention and absolutely no requotes.

6. How different is the forex market today from what it was 2 years ago?

The Forex market is continually changing because of technology enhancements which have lead to many more retail client accessing platforms to speculate on the currency market.  Over the 2 years the daily volume has increase by about 34% with a large proportion coming from the retail sector.

7. What advice would you give to someone who is just starting to trade Forex?

Slow and steady win the race!

Trading is a skill that you can learn, whether you have a mentor or seek the education from professional educators it will always take time to master the craft. Success in the markets is about developing a plan, implementing that plan and most of all sticking to that plan. As the Meta Trader4 platform is the most popular trading platform for Forex, our competitors are those companies that supply this platform to clients. We strive to set ourselves apart by continually refining our offer, maintaining competitive spreads and most importantly assisting clients with enquires to our customer support desk.

9. What do you think about Forex scam problems in the online forex brokers market?

I think it is very disappointing that people would scoop so low and scam retail clients  but it does happen and clients need to be aware of it and make sure they do their research. The most important consideration when opening a new account with any broker is whether or not they regulated and by which agency.

10.    Where do you see yourself in 2 years from now?

We see ourselves continuing our expansion into Europe and Asia whilst maintaining our high levels of customer service. Clients will also benefit from the partnership between Vantage FX and Enfinium Pty Ltd, with the development of Forex Managed accounts, along side the current successful equities, options and futures managed accounts.
