Default Choosing a Broker

I'm very glad I found this site as the members here are extremly kind professional and helpful. I just started in this forex venture 3 days ago so I'm probably as green as can be. Please forgive my english as it is not my first language.

From the start, I would like to choose a broker so that I can GROW with, meaning that after I become experianced at using the brokers demo account and chart trading software, I don't want to change brokers again. So which broker do you guys thing is the best and the SAFEST to keep your money in. To avoid broker going bankrupt or something and taking your money with it. I'm currently using FXCM and find the chart trading quiet interesting. The others which I'm just looking at are: IBFX, FXSOL, OANDA. I'm planing to deposit about $30,000 and to buy or sell maybe 1,000,000 units at a time. (BTW how do I calculat how much margin I'm using at this rate?)

Since I'm living in kuwait, could this be a problem opening and transferring funds back and forth with a US broker?

Thanking you very much for reading my long post.

My advice would be to choose a platform before choosing a broker.
It is enough of an ordeal to change brokers. Compounding the problem by having to adapt to a new platform just makes things worse.
If you want my opinion, I'd say Metatrader platform is the best choice. You can do anything with it, it is very functional and "user-friendly". Forex-Metal is a very good MT4 broker. They have tigh spreads starting from 2 pips, $50 minimum account, demo accounts. I did MT4 demo with them for a while before I went live.
