Forex future trading take place at reputed exchange like the chicago mercantile exchange in the US and you have to trade during the market hour.

I've heard that futures is riskier but can be a lot more profitable. Is this true?

It can be more risky to trade futures because it is harder to use technical analyses on futures then on forex.
On the other hand, once you inform yourself thoughly, and you look at current events and news, things that affect more commodities, you can make your own fundamental analysis and be very successful in futurestrading, maybe even more than forex

    Cheers

What do you think is more profitable, futures or forex?
Formula more risk = more profit is the same for Forex Market and Futures Market as well, but Forex has more profit potential. If you have a constant amount of money, i would say in a year you will make more on Forex than on Futures.

    Forex has more profit potential

For sure. There are seven majors and you can trade all of them at the same time and they all moving. Interesting, how many pips moves EURUSD every day.

An experienced trader should be familiar with the different kind of trading- and understand when it's good to support a certain stock, and when to back off. As JohnsonG said, it's a matter of personal interest.

Right, and this only comes after a certain time and experience. Good traders develop a sense of when to trade, when to buy and when to sell.
