Futures vs. Forex
What do you think is more profitable, futures or forex?
forex looks very inviting, but i know a guy that does 20-200 + a day on YM and that is just to much to ignore.
i do know my broker does futures but not sure about the forex, will have to find out today. but if not where would i go to find a good source in the forex broker market. there are thousands of them on google Sad

I have been told that Futures are better to do than stocks. So I would, also, like more information on this. I would like to be able to make out like a bandit for once in my life. hehehehehe. . .

Forex is quite a gamble, hoping that one currency will increase value and whatnot, thats the ultimate gamble.

Actually, with so many things telling you to buy and sell these days, its easier to trade Forex efficiently.

Just found this article on the Greekshares website and it lists the advantage of forex over futures as:
More Volume = Better Liquidity
Forex markets offer tighter bid to offer spreads than currency futures markets.
Forex markets offer higher leverage and lower margin rates than those found in currency futures trading.
Forex markets utilize easily understood and universally used terms and price quotes.
Forex trades executed through FOREX are commission free.
What do you guys think? Agree or disagree?

Forex trading is still riskier than futures trading.

From Investopedia:
Both forex and traditional futures operate in the same basic manner: a contract is purchased to buy or sell a specific amount of an asset at a particular price on a predetermined date. (For an in-depth introduction to futures, see Futures Fundamentals.) There is, however, one key difference between the two: forex futures are not traded on a centralized exchange; rather, the deal flow is available through several different exchanges in the U.S. and abroad. The vast majority of forex futures are traded through the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) and its partners (introducing brokers).

Also, futures have a lot more fees attached to trading than forex. Something to think about...

Since Forex is the richest market in the world, with over $3 trillion being cycled all around the world. This maybe a reason why it is more tough than other markets, some people are good at making profit here, and some are good making profit elsewhere so depends on you pal, but I wish you the best in any market.
best regards
