The strategy is a hybrid strategy. It is predominantly pattern recognition (80-85% of the time) trend-following (15-20% of the time). Although the system holds winning positions (trend-following) it does not reverse when markets break the tend-following range. Rather, positions are reversed based on a pattern recognition methodology.
