Just as all businesses require a written plan to be successful, trading is no exception. However, most investors minimize the importance of a trading plan – the pervasive mentally in the marketplace is that a loosely defined strategy will reap profits, as long as it works more often than not. During this webinar, Dan Cook, Senior Market Analyst of IG Markets will combat this misconception and demonstrate how a concrete trading plan plays a crucial role in maximizing one’s strategies. The session will focus on how to set trading goals, assess individual trading styles and skills, risk and money management, trade documentation. A trading plan is a very personal document and what works for one trader will not necessarily, nor probably, work for any other. With that in mind, Dan will explain different types of trading plans that fit a variety of trading goals and skill sets as opposed to providing just one cookie-cutter example.
