WASHINGTON, June 18 (Reuters) - President Barack Obama
remains concerned about speculation in the oil markets, White
House spokesman Robert Gibbs said on Thursday.
Asked about why Obama's regulatory reforms earlier this
week did not include changes to deal with speculation in the
oil markets, Gibbs said the president's concerns had not
changed but his proposals were focused on restoring stability
to the financial markets.
