TOKYO, Nov 20 (Reuters) - Japan's Nikkei average fell 1.5
percent on Thursday after U.S. shares plunged to their lowest in
5 ½ years, with exporters hurt by concerns over the weakening
global economy.
As of 0001 GMT, the benchmark Nikkei had slid
123.45 points to 8,149.77, after dipping 0.7 percent the previous
day.
The broader TOPIX index slid 1.3 percent to 816.45.
