EUR/USD is the most liquid of any currency pair, and therefore the best for short-term scalping.  Scalping is managed differently from other types of trading.  When you get an alert you put the trade on with a stop-loss of 10 to 15 pips and a profit target of 8 to 12 pips.  These are very short-term, you'll seldom be in a trade longer than 20 minutes.  They are good for traders who are impatient and want to see results right away.  But they do require a certain amount of skill.  Beginning traders who want to try scalping should keep their trades very small until they develop some confidence in their skill level.
