Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Property, Miscellaneous Industry and Basic Industry sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index gained 0.35%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Prima Alloy Steel Universal (JK:PRAS), which rose 23.81% or 50 points to trade at 260 at the close. Meanwhile, Gunawan Dianjaya Steel Tbk (JK:GDST) added 21.60% or 27 points to end at 152 and Akbar Indomakmur Stimec Tbk (JK:AIMS) was up 20.37% or 44 points to 260 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Sekar Bumi Tbk (JK:SKBM), which fell 10.00% or 65 points to trade at 585 at the close. Rimau Multi Putra Pratama (JK:CMPP) declined 9.93% or 14 points to end at 127 and Pelangi Indah Canindo Tbk (JK:PICO) was down 9.65% or 22 points to 206.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 169 to 126 and 76 ended unchanged.
Shares in Prima Alloy Steel Universal (JK:PRAS) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 23.81% or 50 to 260. Shares in Gunawan Dianjaya Steel Tbk (JK:GDST) rose to 3-years highs; gaining 21.60% or 27 to 152.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.90% or 0.39 to $43.55 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.95% or 0.43 to hit $45.88 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.13% or 1.65 to trade at $1315.45 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.30% to 13234.0, while AUD/IDR rose 0.05% to 9983.00.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.14% at 95.79.
