The US and Japan are more and both sinking ships every passing minute, economically. So what have years of printing and low rates done but push everything forward, misallocated capital by the shipload day after day after day. And now the average Joe cannot even afford a hamburger and french fries away from home. They have car loans they cannot pay, credit cards maxed out, and buy now pay later loans through the roof. So where are they going to get the money to pay it all back?

The yen is poop because the BOJ owns half of the Japanese bond market, and has interest rates in severe emergency crisis range. The only crisis it is dealing with is one of its own making. That is, one it created with decades of opening the doorway to the government building roads going nowhere and giving nice, fat salaries to politicians who enact fail policies and prop up zombie companies.

These governments and central banks dont understand that a sound market with strong companies follows good policy and not the other way around. They have distorted everything with a flawed philosophy that bites at everyone except them because they are self serving and lazy.

Chuck Kay And their policies allow their friends to lobby for policies that enrich the few at the expense of the many to line their pockets while they have complete disregard for the average hard working person who does not work in finance and was not born onto a life among the few. And makes the average person fearful of being left behind so as to prod them towards taking up gambling to put food on the table.

Why would the BOJ buy now when it said publically it had officially ended ETF purchases? And why would a BOJ official say the BOJ was selling stock positions only a few months ago and at lower prices? I know the BOJ is probably the biggest problem to markets worldwide currently, but that just doesnt make any sense.

Sonu Gee Here’s what people do. They look around wondering why they cant afford anything these days. Cars, houses, a hamberger at a fast food shop. And they figure they got left behind when they find out their neighbor bought Nvidia stock. The neighbor is driving some fancy thing. Meanwhile driving a heap of junk they cant even afford the interest on is getting old. So they talk around and find out from everybody who already bought that Japanese stocks are all the rage. So what do they do? They take out a second mortgage and rush to buy. That is who is buying now.
