This morning, the S&P 500 index e-mini futures (ES-H2) are trading higher by 3.75 points to 1398.00 per contract. The market indexes continue to rally and hold up well despite poor economic data out of Europe and China. It seems that as long as Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL) continues to climb, the U.S. markets follow right along. Tomorrow is options expiration and the markets could face some increased volatility. Many of the popular stocks such as Green Mountain Coffee Roasters Inc (NASDAQ:GMCR), Netflix Inc (NASDAQ:NFLX), First Solar Inc (NASDAQ:FSLR), and several others will usually be most volatile into tomorrow.
Last night, the leading Asian stock markets finished mixed. The big losers were the Shanghai Index (China), and the Sensex Index (India). Should the U.S. markets somehow come under selling pressure today it would be wise to watch for weakness in the Chinese and Indian ADR's. Stocks such as Tata Motors Ltd (NYSE:TTM), Infosys Ltd (NASDAQ:INFY), and The India Fund (NYSE:IFN) could be susceptible to pullbacks today.
