Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Travel, Media and Retail sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite fell 0.19%.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Reds (AT:CAMr), which rose 6.16% or 0.045 points to trade at 0.790 at the close. Meanwhile, Nireus Aqua (AT:NIRr) added 5.29% or 0.009 points to end at 0.179 and Thrace Plastic (AT:THRr) was up 3.74% or 0.070 points to 1.940 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Intralot (AT:INLr), which fell 26.89% or 0.139 points to trade at 0.378 at the close. Intracom Holdings SA (AT:INRr) declined 18.76% or 0.127 points to end at 0.550 and Attica Bank SA (AT:BOAr) was down 9.97% or 0.012 points to 0.112.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 54 to 42 and 16 ended unchanged.
Shares in Intralot (AT:INLr) fell to all time lows; losing 26.89% or 0.139 to 0.378. Shares in Intracom Holdings SA (AT:INRr) fell to 52-week lows; down 18.76% or 0.127 to 0.550. Shares in Attica Bank SA (AT:BOAr) fell to 52-week lows; losing 9.97% or 0.012 to 0.112.
Gold Futures for February delivery was down 0.07% or 0.80 to $1219.10 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in January fell 1.03% or 0.53 to hit $51.03 a barrel, while the February Brent oil contract fell 1.29% or 0.78 to trade at $59.62 a barrel.
EUR/USD was down 0.04% to 1.1284, while EUR/GBP fell 0.18% to 0.8846.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 97.373.
