Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Diversified Financials, Capital Goods and Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.38%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG), which rose 1.61% or 1.0 points to trade at 65.7 at the close. Meanwhile, Nel ASA (OL:NEL) added 1.34% or 0.070 points to end at 5.300 and DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) was up 1.14% or 0.21 points to 18.57 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Schibsted ASA A (OL:SBSTA), which fell 2.78% or 9.6 points to trade at 336.1 at the close. Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) declined 2.34% or 1.06 points to end at 44.24 and SalMar ASA (OL:SALM) was down 2.31% or 10.00 points to 422.20.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 115 to 95 and 28 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 3.06% or 1.70 to $57.20 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 2.13% or 1.39 to hit $66.75 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.53% or 7.05 to trade at $1321.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.41% to 9.7144, while USD/NOK fell 0.21% to 8.5420.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 96.015.
