Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Media, Auto & components and Energy sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 1.00%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OSLO:NWC), which rose 2.33% or 7.4 points to trade at 325.3 at the close. Meanwhile, Storebrand ASA (OSLO:STB) added 2.08% or 0.61 points to end at 29.90 and Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd (OSLO:RCLo) was up 1.67% or 10.0 points to 610.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OSLO:PGS), which fell 4.80% or 2.37 points to trade at 47.00 at the close. DNO International ASA (OSLO:DNO) declined 3.62% or 0.40 points to end at 10.65 and Bw Lpg (OSLO:BWLPG) was down 3.42% or 2.20 points to 62.05.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 118 to 56 and 4 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 2.43% or 1.45 to $58.19 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 2.55% or 1.62 to hit $62.17 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.91% or 10.80 to trade at $1174.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.22% to 8.7283, while USD/NOK fell 0.12% to 7.7485.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.07% at 95.41.
